Should I remove the chimney instead of rebuilding it?

If the chimney is no longer used, removal below the roofline is often the simpler option and eliminates a leak point and a wind-exposed stack. If an appliance still vents through it, or it is shared with the neighbor, rebuilding or relining is the path. We can inspect and give you the options in writing.
