Repair or Replace?
Repair usually makes sense when…
- The roof is under roughly 15 years old and the damage is localized.
- A storm removed or lifted shingles in one area.
- The leak traces to flashing, a vent boot, a valley or a skylight.
- Decking is dry and solid when we check it.
Replacement makes more sense when…
- Shingles are curling, cracking or shedding granules across the whole roof.

What types of roofs does Asset work on?
Asphalt shingle roofs on single-family homes and flat or low-slope membrane roofs on multifamily and commercial buildings are our core work. We also install skylights, roof hatches and roof decks. If you have slate, tile or metal, we can assess it and advise you honestly.
Do you repair roofs or only replace them?
Both. Many calls are localized problems such as flashing, a damaged valley or a few wind-torn shingles, and a repair is the right answer. When a roof is near the end of its life, we explain why and quote a replacement. You get our honest recommendation either way.
Are estimates really free?
Yes. We come out, look at the roof, explain what we find and put the price in writing. There is no charge and no obligation.
Can you help with a storm damage insurance claim?
Yes. We document the damage with photos and a written scope you can submit to your insurer, and we are available to answer the adjuster's questions about the roof.
