Some North Bergen houses have shallow pitched fronts or full shingle roofs, and we repair those too: wind-damaged shingles, flashing at walls and chimneys, and ice dams on low-slope sections. In every case we identify the actual source of the leak and fix it with compatible materials, then give you written documentation and photos.
Repair or replace? What we tell North Bergen homeowners
Repair is appropriate when the membrane is dry underneath and mostly intact and the problem is a specific edge, seam, coping joint, scupper or penetration. We re-adhere and reflash lifted edges, patch seams with compatible material, repair coping and reflash penetrations. If the roof is soft, blistered widely or leaking in several places, we will explain replacement options rather than keep patching.
After a windstorm, check the roof edges and parapets if you can do so safely, or call us to inspect. We photograph storm damage and provide written estimates for insurance claims.
